The Meaning of Time
Time has been moving too fast for me these past few months. I have been consumed with classes, studying, and school work and I usually feel like there isn't enough time in the day for everything I want to do. Time flies when I'm consumed with school. Commuting to and from school before the quarantine was the only aspect of my life when time seemed to have slowed down.
Time seemed to have flown by during spring break as I enjoyed every moment of being present, even if that meant to simply breathe. I have been enjoying connecting with myself and diving inward. In addition to doing some soul work, I have been incorporating more movement so I have been exercising more and time feels slow when I'm exercising. My daily routine has not changed and my body is still on a regular wake and sleep cycle. Maybe time has been flying by because I am more of an introvert and enjoy spending time with myself.

Today, I spent the first half of the day foraging morels on the Yankton Sioux Indian Reservation in Wagner, South Dakota.

Hi Princess! First off, let me say how jealous I am of your pics! I love foraging, but I haven't had the opportunity to discover what this area has to offer. I love traveling and discovering new plants and how people in various regions use different plants in the same ways, and vice versa. I hope you're enjoying your time away. I'm also glad you're getting a break from traveling to campus. I know the feeling (ACTCM).
ReplyDeleteSounds like foraging and plants is what draws people like us into oriental medicine and herbology!
